Streams

• General: rear-lift or front-lift depending on volume.
• Cardboard: 660L/1100L or front-lift; flatten boxes from parts deliveries.
• Commingled: staff drinks only; keep liquids out.
• Oily rags and absorbents: keep out of commingled/cardboard/general; use a dedicated, compliant service for hazardous items.

Layout and rules

• Keep commingled away from sinks and wash bays to reduce liquid contamination.
• Lids down to prevent water weight.
• Post a short “yes/no” sign: no oil, filters, or parts in recycling.

Scheduling

• Align pickups with delivery days.
• Track fullness for two weeks; aim for 60-80% at pickup before changing size or frequency.
